Selton Mello shares the passing of his mother, aged 83: “Fly gently”
The actor Selton Mello announced on his social media accounts, this Wednesday (17), the passing of his mother, Selva Aretuza Melo. “My mother is art,” wrote the artist in a post on Instagram.
“My mother embarked on endless flights, concluded her immensely beautiful mission on Earth, but her greatest mission is eternal and extraordinary. What truly moves life is invisible to the eyes, my mother departed to another place, more beautiful, more fitting to her greatness, my connection with her is of a different order. The most important person in my life,” Selton declared.
“I have encountered the greatest pain in the world, but I see beyond that. I continue my combined missions with my queen, our plans remain intact. I am here, mother, with you now within,” the artist concluded.
In the comments of the post, friends and followers expressed their condolences. “My brother!!!! All my affection and respect. My deepest sentiments,” commented the actor Emilio Orciollo Netto. “My condolences, dear friend. Everyone knows, the love is the care you had for her throughout your life. Reverencing parents and their great wisdom. My condolences to your Dalton and Danton Mello,” mourned Ingrid Guimarães.
Selva was also the mother of Danton Mello and was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s nearly 11 years ago.
