Lucy Alves brings a new character to ‘Renascer’ and will spark passions in the village
Having previously portrayed the protagonist Brisa in “Travessia” (2022), Lucy Alves is back in Globo’s primetime. The actress will begin filming her role in “Renascer” in the coming days, playing Lilith, a character that did not exist in the original version of the soap opera 31 years ago.
As per the official soap opera website, in the upcoming episodes, Rachid (Almir Sater) and Norberto (Matheus Nachtergaele) continue their search for Jacutinga (Juliana Paes). Following a lead received by Rachid, they arrive at a cabaret and inquire about Jacutinga. “Who’s looking for me?” a female voice questions. But the village store owner realizes it’s not his past love.
Upon learning that the woman is an artist, Norberto and Rachid decide to stay and watch Lilith’s show, being impressed by her talent with the accordion and her voice. Norberto then decides to bring her to perform in the village, stating, “How good would it be to have a talented accordionist like her here to liven up the store?”
Lilith will quickly win over everyone, piquing the interest of Norberto, Zinha (Samantha Jones), and José Bento (Marcello Melo Jr.). However, the woman will have a “rival” in town: Dona Patroa (Camila Morgado). Egídio’s (Vladimir Brichta) ex-wife will not be pleased to see another woman living in the same house as her, leading to new conflicts in the storyline.
